Laura Putt is a Principal Transport Planner at Transport for London. She joined TfL after a degree in Geography at the University of Oxford and an internship at the Sustainable Transport Centre in Mexico City. She has worked in road safety and smarter travel teams and Camden council’s transport strategy team. She completed a Masters in Transport & Business Management and worked as Deputy Venue Transport Manager during the 2012 Olympics. Laura worked for five years in TfL’s monitoring and evaluation team, researching the impacts of transport infrastructure and policy on travel behaviour with a focus on walking, cycling and health. She has recently joined the Spatial Planning team supporting ‘good growth’ in London. Laura is also a Board Director of the Transport Planning Society, responsible for supporting TPS Reps in the Regions & Nations providing events for members.
