The Transport Practitioners’ Meeting started in the 70s as the ‘Annual Summer BBQ’ – a place for the small and growing community of Transport Planners to get together, network and share ideas.
The event has stayed true to it’s roots over the years, becoming the meeting place for all transport planners, highways engineers, placemakers and urban transport designers. TPM brings the wider
transport and built environment community together for two days of world class networking, idea sharing and lively debate.
In 2018 we kicked off two years in Oxford. Over two days delegates presented over 140 presentations, workshops, posters. Sixteen exhibitors were able to engage with decision makers in between sessions and during breaks with the convenient located exhibition area. There was plenty of opportunity for Networking at the pre-event social, the complimentary pre-awards drinks and the Award Ceremony.
We expect and even more exciting and engaging event for 2019 as we return to Oxford 10 – 11 July 2019 at The Examination Schools. There is plenty of opportunity to get involved be it presenting a poster or presentation, sponsoring a network session or simply soaking in the atmosphere – The Transport Practitioners’ Meeting is a must attend event for any practitioner!
